Teen Renovation Testimonials
This program was life changing. My perspective on the world is way more positive. I got to learn more about myself and how others perceive me. I created so many strong and unique relationships with every single kid I went through teen renovation with. I can’t express how thankful I am that I went through this!Mercia | Teen Renovation Trainee
Having gone through a similar training ourselves, and witnessing the life change it can bring, my wife and I sent my son through Teen Renovation in 2016. When we picked him up from the training, the change in him was apparent from the moment he greeted us. I knew then, that I wanted to be a part of seeing teens encounter the same kind of self-discovery that my family had. This year (2019) was my opportunity to serve as a Coaches' Assistant for Teen Renovation. The experience far exceeded any expectations I may have had. My life was enriched as I was able to revisit my own experience and be a part of giving that same gift to a group of deserving and hard-working teens. If you have a teen, they need to attend a Teen Renovation training. If you have a heart for teens, You need to take any opportunity you have to serve. You won't be disappointed! It was an amazing experience. For about five years I have struggled with knowing God's true love for me and I replaced that with pornography. It made me not want to know people, and put on a mask of a different person. When I went to Teen Renovation, I was able see the true love God has for me, and that I am a peaceful, caring and a strong man of God! If you have not done this, I pray you will get the opportunity to. Trust me, it will be the best thing that will ever happen to you.Jeremiah | Teen Renovation Trainee
I wouldn't have wanted to spend my spring break any other way. I came in a room filled with strangers and walked out with family. It only took the 5 days to completely change my life. Sharon and Greg are so great and so loving and I'm just so blessed by them.Star | Teen Renovation Trainee
Teen Renovation (TR) was one of the greatest and most beneficial events I have experienced. When you go, be prepared to be changed in miraculous ways—to finally know who you are. I have known the directors, Greg and Sharon Prosch, for a while now. Sharon is the pastor at my church youth group. Before I went to TR, Greg told me that in order to get the most out of it, you have to give it your all, and not let fear stop you from doing the work. I trust both of them very much, so I didn’t let my fear of the unknown stop me. I went to Teen Ren broken and lost, feeling unwanted and unworthy of love. My father passed away six months ago. The year before my mom had cancer. I had been bullied, and verbally abused by many. I felt completely alone and broken. I spoke the truth and didn’t try to be my usual self and hide or stuff my feelings. I let them all out. It was rough, but It was amazing the changes that happened in my heart! It’s hard, I’m not gonna lie. Spending a week digging down deep and finding out who you are is a tough process, but in order for things to work you’ve got to go through the hard to get the results you want! I am so glad I went. I left the training as a woman who is unafraid of the road ahead, because I know who I am, who I was created to be. I made many new wonderful friends, and we were able to come alongside each other and be there to support each other through the training. I felt the pain of losing my Dad begin to heal in my heart. So often in life we struggle with not knowing who we are, and feel pressured to be someone that we are not. TR teaches us to embrace the person who God created us to be, and shows us how many people appreciate you being real. It’s amazing what happens when you shed your false persona. I encourage anyone, who is searching and wanting to know who they are, what their purpose in life is, who feels like no one in the world could understand, to consider going. I guarantee you will find the answers you are looking for. I’m so thankful for the leaders I had this training, to all the new friends I’ve made, Sharon and Greg for all the love they pour out on us, and to my Savior, Jesus Christ, for loving me unconditionally. I hope to see you there!Kenna | Teen Renovation Trainee
Teen Renovation is unlike any program for teens I have ever seen! Participants are immersed in an experiential learning community in which they are equipped to discover and embrace their unique value and purpose. In a world where teens and adults alike struggle to feel purpose and belonging, the sense of meaning and friendships forged in TR can be truly life-changing. If only this was available when I was a youth pastor.Trevor Estes | Parent & Pastor
